Teacher Induction Mentoring Specialist
Ed Services
I am entering my 25th year working in the Antelope Valley Union High School District. I began my career as an instructional aide, eventually becoming a teacher. My teaching career began at Lancaster High School where I taught Resource, mathematics, and AVID. While there, I was an Instructional Partner, a math department chair, and an AVID co-coordinator. After 15 years at Lancaster, I moved to Desert Winds High School where I taught math through the Math Literacy Program. Last year, I became a full-time Teacher Induction Mentoring Specialist (TIMS) for mathematics and PE in our district. I love working with new teachers and I hope to utilize both my classroom  and mentoring experience to support them in their professional growth.
