The Mentor’s Experience In Teacher Induction Today
This interactive workshop seeks to describe the tools Newark Teacher Induction developed to address the aspects of Program Standards 3, 4, 6 that involve mentor support, assessment, and on-going professional learning. It will tell a story of the mentor’s experience through induction.
How did this Induction program provide support to its mentors? How was the quality and level of support provided to candidates assessed? What feedback was solicited from mentors and how did the data impact program improvement? How did program leadership provide regular feedback to mentors?

This workshop will be presented via Google slides. A link may be shared and in included with all conference materials. Participants will also access live links during the presentation to interact with the materials to facilitate group interaction/ discussion.
