Induction Specialist

Kimberly Garcia was an elementary classroom teacher for over 16 years. For the past nine years, she has mentored new teachers as an Induction Specialist with Los Angeles USD's Teacher Growth & Induction program. She is also an adjunct professor at California State University, Northridge where she teaches courses focused on English learner development, literacy, and social justice. When she is not reading or writing something for her doctoral program, Kimberly enjoys traveling, weekend drives, and fixing up her beach condo.
